Personal Data Processing

Beltools, whose contact details are provided on the website’s “contact” page, and the User who provides personal data to Beltools, commit to comply with the applicable regulations regarding the processing of personal data, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27/04/2016 (GDPR).

Beltools collects and processes identity and contact data received from the User, including through the contact form on the website and from any other useful contact persons. The purposes of these processing operations include responding to User’s inquiries, executing an agreement, managing customers and their orders, accounting, and direct prospecting activities, such as sending promotional or commercial information. The legal bases for these processing operations are the performance of a contract, User’s consent, compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, and/or Beltools’ legitimate interests.

The aforementioned personal data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation and will only be disclosed to subcontractors, recipients, and/or third parties as necessary for the aforementioned processing purposes.

The User is responsible for the accuracy and updating of the personal data provided to Beltools and agrees to strictly comply with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation regarding the individuals whose personal data they have provided, as well as regarding any possible personal data received from their own customers.

Personal data is kept and processed for a period necessary depending on the purposes of the processing and the (contractual or non-contractual) relationship. User data will, in any case, be removed from our systems at the latest by December 31 of the seventh year following the data collection or the completion of their last order, except for personal data that we are required to retain for a longer period based on specific legislation or ongoing disputes for which personal data is necessary.

By giving consent when entering or providing their personal data, the User also consents, in addition to the processing described above, to the collection and use of their personal data as defined below.

Beltools collects personal identification information (name, address, phone number, email address, VAT number, total number of visits to the site, number of visitors on each page of the site, domain names of visitors’ internet service providers, IP addresses, cookies).

The User agrees that their data may be used for advertising, commercial, or marketing purposes and consents to receiving information from Beltools via email (newsletter, etc.) or by postal mail.

Rights:

Right of Access: The User has the right to inquire at any time whether their data has been collected, for how long, and for what purpose.
Right to Rectification: The User has the right to request that their inaccurate or incomplete data be corrected or completed upon request.
Right to Restriction of Processing: The User can request a restriction of the processing of their data. This means that the data in question must be “tagged” in our computer system and cannot be used for a certain period of time.
Right to Erasure of Data (“Right to Be Forgotten”): Subject to legal exceptions, the User has the right to demand the erasure of their data.
Right to Data Portability: The User can request their data to be transmitted to them in a “structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.”
Right to Lodge a Complaint: The User can file a complaint with the data protection authority.
Beltools commits to implementing technical and organizational measures ensuring an adequate level of security to protect data confidentiality. Beltools will notify the User of any personal data breach that it becomes aware of.
